Session 3-4it's hags

A lack of senses

After resting in the outskirts of Neverlight Grove and getting your energy back the journey towards Gracklstugh began. But you didn't come far before Eldreth stopped in her tracks as a revelation struck her. The distance between the outpost and Neverlight Grove is what is expected between an outpost and it's Clanhold. A fervor caught her, desiring to to return to Neverlight Grove and drive out the Myconids. After calming her she vowed to return with an army and burn away all the fungus. When the Motley Crew arrived once again at the Whispering Passage Willy once again listened, listened a bit closely as he suddenly couldn't hear anything but the whispers, which after a short while faded as well rendering the warrior deaf. At your stop later at the outpost Wreit made you an offer, relinquishing control of the outpost to his master in exchange for introductions. With your meagre interest in the outpost you agreed and papers were signed.

Session 7-3it's hags

Not really knowing what they were up against the Motley Crew with their rescued Duergar headed as far as possible from the beast. Before they could even get to their apartment and their gear they heard a familiar voice calling out DEMOGORGON. Turning around you saw Eldreth walking towards the beast uttering words in Abyssal only to be engulfed by the beast. After quickly grabbing your gear you headed into the caverns surrounding Sloobludop. Some hours later the Duergar, Hemeth, was in good enough condition as you needed him to get to Gracklstugh, especially as he told you he often traversed it's waterways. So you snuck back into Sloobludop but not without attracting attention. While no beasts spotted your reentry several scared Kuo-Toa did and once you found yourselves at the boat Shooshar had his arms full with tadpoles he had been given to take to safety. You set out on the lake, before you could leave Sloobludop behind you you were assaulted by flying demons that you gave a watery grave.

Session 41-1it's hags

A new player in the Game

Once ready Vecna eagerly teleported you out from her domain and into the underdark with the intent of putting you not far from Neverlight. But after a shaky, which is unusual, passage you found yourself not near Neverlight as there was very little fungi around. Instead you found yourself a turn away from the Tower of Vengeance where you got invited in by it's lord, a drow arcanist, Vizeran DeVir. He had an offer for you, assist him in direly and expediently solving the daemon threat and he would make sure Vecna didn't find you. Despite the fine food and drink, lavish environment and that he saved from being put between a rock and a hard place you turned down his offer. As he bid you farewell he teleported you to not far from Neverlight, but not before giving Anton a small gem.

Session 41-2it's hags

A dear old friend

As you found your way close to Neverlight you found others with business there as well. Blocking your passage to the grove was a small warcamp and you quickly found your way to the leader. Or she found her way to you. You old companion Eldreth Feldrun who fell to Demogorgon was alive and looking better than before. Getting reacquainted you learned that she was given this host by Demogorgon to allow her to realize her goal. While small and ill equipped they had an ace in the sleeve, a stickly highly flammable black substance. And barrels worth of it.

Session 41-3it's hags

The battle for Neverlight

With you reinforcing Eldreth saw no reason to not launch the attack. You were given several barrels and were tasked with brining down the central fungi, and the heart of the colony, while Eldreth and her host provided a distraction. Making only part of the way undetected you were forced to bring attention upon yourself while fending off defending fungi. Afterwards you sprinted to the huge fungi, quickly positioned the barrels and set them, and the fungi, ablaze. During the blaze Willy inhaled a bit too much of the surrounding spores and got a vision of Zuggtmoy attempting to overpower a being stretching through most of the Underdark. You later learned this to be Araumycos. Meanwhile Eldreth had to you unknown allies who conjured forth huge slimes who started to feed on the millennia of fungi remains slowly revealing the clanhold beneath. At this point the fungi of Neverlight was doomed and could do little but succumb to your and Eldreth's forces.

Session 41-4it's hags

Friends are great

A few hours after the battle you found Eldreth on a balcony overlooking the former grove as a few of her surviving host came up to speak with her about the future home. Not realizing you were there Eldreth moved into position to push them off the balcony as "Everglow is of dwarves, and for dwarves". But before that Anton was upon her and a scuffle began. After a fierce struggle she was subdued and taken with you to Vecna to see if she could get rid of the daemon taint in Eldreth. After only a cursory interrogation of Eldreth Vecna told you the deal was done willingly and voluntarily and so would be hard to break. But you had other tasks more immediate.

Session 43-3it's hags

While the Queen was vanquished all was not peaceful in Vecna's domain. She was a bit annoyed with you almost ruining her plan, dragging in strangers (Seth) and that Penny was still skulking around despite having orders to fetch Gromph's grimoire. To get away from it all Seth went topsite where he in the ruined temple found a nervous man. The man had found a scroll on his night stand and a note to deliver it to the "Priestess at the Temple". So Seth took the scroll and took it down. Back down Vecna scolded him for his idiocy of brining it down as it conjured forth a mighty deamon, a Balrog. The Balrog was sent to bring back Eldreth for his master, Demogorgon, as she belonged to him. But in a mighty show of resilience and force of personality Anton intimidated it to return empty handed. But not before extending an offer to the "Horncleaver" to join it's master and lead the armies of the Abyss. An offer Anton declined. With patience running low Vecna gladly whisked you away to get some peace and quiet, to return once you have rested and found out why Mistress Edralve of Highport was putting her nose in Vecna's affairs.
